Author Guidelines

JA: Jurnal Aequitas is committed to maintaining academic integrity and high standards of publication ethics. This policy follows internationally recognized ethical guidelines to ensure the quality and credibility of all published articles.

1. Responsibilities of Authors

  • Submit original work free from plagiarism.
  • Provide proper citation for all sources used.
  • Do not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously.
  • Ensure data accuracy and avoid fabrication, falsification, or manipulation.
  • Include all individuals who have made significant contributions as authors.
  • Disclose any conflicts of interest.

2. Responsibilities of Editors

  • Make publication decisions based on the scientific merit, relevance, and contribution of the manuscript.
  • Act objectively, fairly, and without discrimination.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all manuscript-related information.
  • Avoid conflicts of interest in the editorial process.

3. Responsibilities of Reviewers

  • Provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of the reviewed manuscripts.
  • Identify relevant sources not cited by the authors.
  • Disclose any conflicts of interest.

4. Publication Ethics Statement

  • Plagiarism in any form is unacceptable.
  • Duplicate, redundant, or multiple publication is prohibited.
  • Any ethical violations will be handled according to the journal’s policies, including rejection or retraction.
