Peer Review Process
JA: Jurnal Aequitas implements a peer review process to ensure the scientific quality and integrity of all published manuscripts. The review process is conducted using a double-blind system, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous.
The review process consists of the following steps:
- Initial Editorial Screening
Submitted manuscripts are evaluated for their relevance to the journal’s focus and scope, as well as completeness and formatting requirements. - Plagiarism Screening
Manuscripts are checked using plagiarism detection software. Those that do not meet the standards will be rejected or returned to the authors. - Peer Review Process
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two qualified reviewers for objective evaluation. - Editorial Decision
Based on reviewers’ comments, the editor makes one of the following decisions:- Accepted without revision
- Accepted with minor revisions
- Accepted with major revisions
- Rejected
- Revision by Authors
Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to reviewer feedback within the given timeframe. - Final Decision and Publication
Once the revised manuscript is approved, it proceeds to the publication stage.
This process ensures the quality, objectivity, and transparency of the journal’s publications.
